My Journey

A life
built around
food.

Italian heritage. South African kitchens.
Different cultures, one passion.
A journey that continues.

01The Beginning

Roots and
family.

I was raised in Pretoria in a close Italian family, where food was more than a meal. It was love, tradition and identity.
My grandmother's kitchen in Italy taught me the value of simple ingredients, patience and respect. Those early summers shaped the way I cook today.

02The Kitchen

Learning
by doing.

From my first professional kitchens to fine dining in the UK, from private clients to remote lodges, each experience taught me something new. Different cuisines, techniques and cultures broadened my understanding, but the essence remained the same: good ingredients, cooked well.

03The People

Kitchens
create people.

I have been fortunate to work with incredible chefs, mentors, teams and producers. Every kitchen, from bustling restaurants to intimate private tables, has shaped who I am. Food connects us through people, places and cultures. It humbles you, teaches you and keeps you curious.

The journey
continues.

I continue to cook, create, research and share.
